Currently available are Exalted Venus in Pisces talismans. Being ruled by an Exalted Jupiter in Cancer, these Venus in Pisces Talismans capture a rare and powerful alignment, not able to be reproduced for another 12 years; the exalted Lesser Benefic ruled by the exalted Greater Benefic. Copper is one of Venus’s traditional metals. These pendants are made with a very high purity copper. To make them, I designed an image of a veiled woman caressing a dove and had it commissioned on a steel stamp. During the elected time, I stamped each pendant with the design and engraved the sigil of the Intelligence of Venus, Hagiel, on the back. Due to being pure copper, these talismans are likely to stain the skin blue-ish green over time if worn constantly. The talisman will also oxidize very quickly to a darker brown/green color. This is not a defect. The traditional color of Venus is green which further enhances the virtues and power of the talisman. These pendants come with a leather cord for wear. The Power of Venus: 

As the second most luminous object in the night sky, after the Moon, Venus draws forth many delightful virtues. From the divine essence, God allows her to extend goodness upon mortals, illuminate the beauty in all things, and to create love between others. She is known as the Lesser Benefic and wherever she abides in one’s chart is where love is sure to be found. With her planetary talisman, we can channel that same energy into our life. Venus in Pisces is what we call in medieval astrology as ‘Exalted’. Unlike her domiciles of Libra and Taurus where she rules as a Queen with responsibility, she does not govern here. Think of her as if she were an esteemed or honored guest in a well to do household; that is what it means to be Exalted. In Pisces, as a Lady, Venus has incredible potential. Here she entertains, she is charming, delightfully cheerful, and radiates inner love. These talismans capture that fantastic energy making their owners benevolent and kind but also inviting that energy into their lives. I have a special relationship with Venus as she was my very first planetary spirit to work with. Through the whisper of God’s gentle voice, I fell into her arms. To me, she feels a bit like the Virgin Mary. Of course, Venus energy is far from chaste, she still maintains a divine and otherworldly innocence that a maiden has, especially in Pisces. While transiting, Venus has a special sort of watery protection here; like a veil of starlight. This watery and deeply spiritual energy is amplified by the trine of Jupiter in Cancer, who is also Exalted. As stated before, this alignment only happens every 12 years. 

This election happening in the 9th House is no mistake. In the words of Deborah Houlding, part of the ninth house rules “beliefs; the desire to unite with something greater than oneself.” These talismans make an exceptional channel into finding the love you may have lost with the Divine.

I firmly believe it was through Venus that I was able to hear God again. And I should never have doubted, the story was written already. Venus re-ignited my spiritual love and allowed me to see what I couldn’t before. She showed me new ways to love and to be loved in return. The Election

Venus, dignified by term and sign, culminates in her exaltation of Pisces conjoined by the waxing Moon and Mercury in the 9th house during her planetary hour. **The chart depicted is using a house system called Regiomontanus however, I typically use whole signs and forgot to change it in the software** The Sun joins the trio but is just far enough away as to not combust Venus. We have Jupiter, exalted in Cancer, and the Part of Fortune applying trines to all three planets from the 1st House. There are no malefic aspects to her or the Moon within the election period and all benefics are free from affliction, save the retrogradation of Jupiter. Regarding the entire 9th House in which the election takes place: the Sun enters exactly at the bounds and has his Joy here. His presence significantly strengthens the 9th House and its inhabitants. 

This election occurs just two days after a significant moment of Venus’s synodic cycle, the Evening-Rise transition. Venus is essentially reborn during this time, finally appearing out of the Sun’s rays marking the point where the ancients ceased to refer to her as Lucifer or Phosphorus, “Light Bringer”, and instead acknowledge her as Hesperus or Vesper, the “Evening Star”. For the next 8 months, Venus will appear in the sky shortly after the Sun’s setting at dusk. This is the 2nd most effective position of the 8 synodic positions that she cycles through.

Speaking on the challenges of the election: Mercury conjunct Venus in Pisces is in his Fall, however, he is in direct motion, in a cadent house separating from Venus, and receives support from the Moon and Jupiter. To additionallly compensate for this, he is dignified by Term and should not be interpreted as a harmful factor. 

The Ritual

The ritual was conducted during Venus hour however, for 7 days prior, I remained chaste and fasted during daylight hours. After ritually cleansing myself and putting on my most expensive jewelry, perfumes, and oils, an altar of sky blue silk was made up with 5 candles with the seal of Venus inscribed and the sigil of her planetary spirits. Sat before the altar were materia of Venereal nature: a rabbits skin, a brass bell, brass votives, a copper plate with the square of Venus, a bronze swallow statue, a fishnet vase, a shell votive, a seashell, and a personification of Venus. Among the offerings were plums, figs, oranges, chicken, chocolate, and wine. With candles lit and the first cast of suffumigation made up of frankincense, saffron, poppyseed, labdanum, mastic, and willow, a prayer to God was offered up. 

Then, the reading of Psalm 91 for protection, 1 Corinthians 13 for love, and James 3:13 for wisdom. The Archangel of Venus, Hanael was then called upon along with the angel of Pisces, Barchiel. With their spirits present, the Orphic Hymn to Venus was sung. 

Afterward, the Venus prayer from the Picatrix was read.

After praying and meditating further, the blank copper pendants were stamped and engraved at exactly 1:06PM/CST with the powers of Venus, her spirit’s sigil on the back, and the image of a Lady caressing a dove on the front.

Upon completion of the engraving, more suffumigation was added and each talisman was wrapped in white silk strips and suffumigated individually while the third and final prayer to Venus was offered up.

The guardians, angels, and spirits were thanked, a prayer was offered up to God once more, giving thanks. The pendants, now planetary talismans of Venus, were left until the suffumigation burned out. They were then covered in a green cloth to shield the Sun whilst being moved into a mirror lined box for storage to await the next stage of their journey, to you.
